The ballots are finally counted in the second recall in yesterday's election, and Michigan Representative Paul Scott has been recalled. The results are very close, with the "yes" vote just 197 votes ahead of the "no" vote. While Rep. Scott has said he will not demand a recount, the state Republican party has not ruled it out.
Under Michigan's recall rules, Rep. Scott will stay in office until a successor is chosen in a February 2012 special election.
