The NCSL 2008 Legislative Summit takes place right along the Mississippi River! Most meetings will be held in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, which parallels the banks of the mighty river.
With more than 1 million feet of convention space that spans more than 10 blocks, the center has hosted some of the nation's largest meetings since it opened in 1985. With a fresh and new look, it already has hosted several events this year, including programs tied in with the NBA All-Star Game and the national college football championship.
