A day at the office for a state trooper, tow truck driver and others who work along the nation’s highways can involve speeding vehicles whizzing past them as they work to enforce traffic laws and help motorists.
Too often, these workers are unintentionally struck and killed or seriously
injured by the very drivers they’re attempting to help and protect.
