How often does your state legislature meet?

Does the question sound confusing? Are you surprised to find out that not all state legislatures meet annually? And what do these legislators do when they are not in session? 

The answers to these questions and more can be found in this edition of The Buzz. We sit down with Angela Andrews, a policy associate with The National Conference of State Legislatures, to talk about biennial legislative sessions.
